He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Blegen and Mary Blegen (Muri); his wife Vera Marie Hass; his brother Maynard (Hazel); his daughters, Carol Coggins and Linda Trusty; and his sons-in-law, Garret Trusty (Beano) and Charles Jansen.
He is survived by: his children, Ron (Mary) of Rochester, Mary Blegen of Stewartville and Barb Lemke (Jeff) of Rochester; his son-in-law Tom Coggins of Rochester; his grandchildren, Bryan Coggins (Charis), Megan Swanson (Joshua), Adam Lemke (Hailie), JoAnne Cormican (Josh) and Amber Lemke; and his great grandchildren, Breanna, Brynn and Lynnara.
