She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmar Gifford and Eleanor Gifford (Healy). She is survived by: her husband Eugene Pearson of Kansas City, KS; her sons, Douglas (Bethany) and Jonathan (Laura); her grandchildren, Kenzie, Andrew, Adeline and Samantha of Gardner, KS.; her brother Paul Gifford (Barb) of Minnesota; and her uncle Len Healy of Minneapolis, MN.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
