He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his daughter Stacy Cooper (Jason); his granddaughters, Paige and Meghan Cooper; his parents, Darryl Johnson and Mary Ann Johnson of Grand Meadow, MN; his siblings, Jonalle Sauer (Steve), Curt Johnson (Diane) and Terry Johnson (Sara Senjem); and his siblings-in-law, Pat Jordan, Rose Scrabeck, Peggy Barrett, Kathy Heibel (John), Sandy Ristau (Steve), Trudy Barrett, Bill Barrett (Marcia), Jim Barrett, Don Barrett (Julie) and Dave (Tammy Fetsch). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
