He is survived by: his wife Amy; his children, Karin Lundberg (Dave) of Shakopee, MN, Paul (Petra) of Wayzata, MN, Kris Peterson (Gary) of Rochester, MN, Kathy Illa (Mark) of Cannon Falls, MN and Connie Berg (Jason) of Farmington, MN; his grandchildren, Phillip Lundberg (Jamie), Kari Smith (Britton), Hallie Koehn, Lucas Berg, Erik Peterson, Isaac Illa, Evan Peterson and Kyle Berg; his great grandchildren, Leo, Patrick Lundberg and Britton Smith III; his brother Larry Koehn (Sarah) of Gulfport, MS; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Bergh of Woodbury, MN and Connie Wallin (Duane) of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Gordy's family suggests memorials to Zion Lutheran Church.
