He is survived by: his sister Minnie (Chad Bandel); his wife Arla; his children, Kelly Gunderson (Steve) of Cottage Grove and Brett Bernard (Kristi Lang) of Stewartville; his grandsons, Vincent Bernard, Wyatt Bernard, Eric Gunderson and Luke Bernard; and his sister Mary Bernard of Stewartville.
