She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Bjerstedt and Frances Bjerstedt (Webster); her sons, David and Jay Thompson; and her siblings, Audrey Tikal and Bruce Bjerstedt.
She is survived by: her husband George; her children, Stephanie Curtis of Menifee, CA, Audrey Hyland of Eden Prairie, MN, Barb Hegman (Hap) of Vero Beach, FL and Robert Thompson (Christy) of Corona, CA; and her brother Alan Bjerstedt of Tiptonville, TN. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
