It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Claussen of Stewartville, Minnesota, born in Pipestone, Minnesota, who passed away on January 11, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophus Claussen and Irene Thill Claussen; and his siblings, Elaine Nielsen and Donovan Claussen. He is survived by: his wife Faye; his children, Julie Baker (Shawn) of Chatfield, Donna Benson (Allen) of River Falls, Scott Claussen (Rachel) and Justin Claussen (Cecilia Moeller) of Eau Claire; his grandchildren, Joshua Baker (Jesse), Sarah Nieman (Brandon), Drew Benson (Brittany Peterson), Logan Claussen (Stephanie Geisler) and Anja Claussen (Matt Peterson); his great grandchildren, Samantha, Sadie, Savanna, Christopher, Aubrey, Blaine and Ensley; and his sister Doreen Ver Does of Preston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
