Ethel C. Bissen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel C. Bissen (Stewartville, Minnesota), born in Stacyville, Iowa, who passed away on November 21, 2018 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Michels and Helen Michels (Mueller); her husband John; her children, Michael and Doris Flicker; her sons-in-law, Charles Taylor and Rick Bamlet; and her siblings, Patricia Murdock, Hazel Heimer, Wilmer "Bud" Michels and John "Jack" Michels.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rita Hackenmiller (Paul) of St. Ansgar, Ellen Kanavati (Louis) of West St, Janet Taylor of Rochester and Donna Bamlet of Stewartville; her daughter-in-law Laurie Bissen of Winona, MN; and her siblings, Ruth Olson of Waterloo and Joseph "Pete" Michels of Osage. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 33great grandchildren and 18 great –great grandchildren.
