With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alvina Byrne of Stewartville, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Alvina left this world on March 28, 2025 at the age of 99, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Alvina leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Alvina may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Regier and Christine Regier (Thelen); her husband John; her stepchildren, Joan Eibner and James "Jim" Byrne; and her stepson-in-law Jerry Eibner.
She is survived by: her son Roger Byrne (DeeAnn) of Racine; her grandson Andrew Byrne (Abigail) of Minnetonka; her stepsons, John Byrne (Marge) of Rochester and Robert Byrne (Marge) of Conaga Park, CA; and her stepdaughter-in-law Sharon Byrne of Stewartville. She is also survived by 14 step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 1:00 PM at the St. Bernard's Catholic Church (116 4th Ave SE, Stewartville, MN 55976). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bernards Catholic Church (116 4th Ave SE, Stewartville, MN 55976).
