He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Rivard and Eva Rivard; his wife Judy (Judy); his daughter Janelle Hebert (Dale); his siblings, Lloyd, Duane, Mae Pilon and Winnifred Osowski; and his children-in-law, Kelly Lipsiea and Marie Larson.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Lipsiea of Mayville, ND, Rick Rivard (Mary), Jill Rivard of Red Wing, MN, LaVonne Baldwin (Mike) of Manteca, CA, Rod Rivard (Amy) of Baltimore, MD, Nicole DeSautel (Jimmy) of Grafton, ND and Randy (Jamie Freese) of Hanska, MN; his grandchildren, Jessica Arneson (Jered), Patrick Lipsiea and Harry Lipsiea; his children, Abbie Courneya (Micah), Noelle Kohls (Adam), Roger Hebert, Greg Hebert (Tory), Carly Ehrmann (Riley), Cassie Eckblad, Katie Eckblad, Kayla Young (Jason), Tyler Rivard (Katie), Madeline Rivard, Hannah Rivard, Kylen Kostrzewski (Candace) and Adam DeSautel; his great grandchild Riley Arneson; and his grandchildren, Charlie, LuLu Lipsiea, Andy Jan, Daley Hebert, Eloise Courneya, Kaleigh, Morgan, Jacob, JoJo and Oliver DeGeldere. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to be sent to Lutheran Sunset Home, or the Stephen Volunteer Ambulance Service.
