She was predeceased by: her parents, Hjalmer Hjelle and Hannah Hjelle (Hanson); her siblings, Clarice Hjelle (Carl), Kenny Hjelle and Clayton (Joan Hjelle); and her sister-in-law Avis Hjelle.
She is survived by: her daughter Jody Anderson; her granddaughters, Heather Anderson of Fargo and Nicole Anderson (Eric Hendrickson) of Moorhead; her siblings, Hilton Hjelle (Ruby) of Grand Forks, Jimmy Hjelle (Betty) of Newfolden and Linda Walz (Dennis) of Stephen; and her sister-in-law Gwen Hjelle. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
