With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Hoper of Stephen, Minnesota, born in Warren, Minnesota, who passed away on February 6, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hoper and Ruth Hoper (Jackson); his sons, Chad and Jared; his wives, Boni and Doris; and his sister-in-law Ingrid Hoper.
He is survived by: his close friend Doris Nelson (Gehrls); his children, Marla Nickson (Phil), Jerome Hoper (Megan) and Mark Nelson (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Ben, Steve Nickson, Meika, Odin Hoper, Alex, Beckett and Blake Nelson; and his siblings, Mark Hoper (Lois Ann), Saundra Moe (Tom) and Clifford Hoper. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
