He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvin Hagestuen and Juline Hagestuen (Nordaune); his siblings, Donald (Sonja), Judy (Daniel Forde) and Lyndon (Ann); his significant other Vernie Suckow; his children, Dawn (Robert Fix), Kirsten (Oak Reile) and Jon; his grandchildren, Beth (Jesse Brademeyer), Brian (Katie), Megan Fix, Sam (Jessica), Ben (Desiree), Jed Reile (Courtney) and Grace Krippner (Brian); his children, Jonathan, Kai and Kari; and his great grandchildren, Parker, Bentley and Evlyn.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Lutheran World Relief.
