She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Rhoads and Ivadel Rhoads (Lewis); her husband Wayne Mensing; her stepfather Raymond Sterner; her daughter Deb Thompson; and her siblings, Gail "Whitey" Rhoads and Barb Eklund.
She is survived by: her daughter Paula Hoverud (Mike) of Starbuck; her grandchildren, Michelle Moen (Pat Winter) of Starbuck, Jeannie Hoverud (Gary Verhoeff) of Belgrade and Mitchell Hoverud (Kristi Winter) of Clontarf; her great grandchildren, Austin Hoverud, Hailey Hoverud, Gavin Moen, Ava Moen, Morgan Winter, Nolan Winter, Brayden Winter and Tenley Winter; and her sister Ann Tatum of Omaha, NE..
