She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Otterness and Josie Otterness; her husband Larry Kittelson; and her siblings, Jerome Otterness and Eleanor Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Shari Opdahl (Donald) of Starbuck, Dean Kittelson of St. Cloud and Troy Kittelson of Starbuck; her grandchildren, Brittany Zamora (Fernando) of Montevideo, Bridget Opdahl of Wimbledon, ND and Drew Opdahl of Starbuck; and her siblings, Harriet Jacobson (Harold) of Brooten and Allen Otterness (Joan) of Sartell.
