He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Berg and Borghild Berg (Carlson); his brother James A. Berg; and his siblings-in-law, Douglas Erdahl, Donald Farringer and Jane Berg.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Ester Krause (Sue) of Starbuck, MN; his children, Brian Berg (Gina) of Chippewa Falls, WI, Kevin Berg (Emily Wright) of Glenwood, MN and Jolene Schreiner (Mike) of Alexandria, MN; his grandchildren, Levi Berg, Brylee Berg and Nic Schreiner; his stepgrandchildren, Molly Hoemberg and Meredith Hoemberg; his siblings, LeRoy Berg and Barbara Thue (Roger); and his sister-in-law June Berg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
