Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joy Yvonne Aaberg of Starbuck, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 90, on December 28, 2021. She was predeceased by: her husband Palmer; her brother Gene Johnson; and her sister-in-law JoAnne Johnson. She is survived by: her close friend Palmer Aaberg; her children, Paul Aaberg of Starbuck, Allan Aaberg (Laurie) of Starbuck, Amy Jorgenson (Mike) of Montevideo and Gail Lommen (Dave) of Minnetonka; her grandchildren, Amber Wasiloski of Starbuck, Megan Baxendale (Richard) of Minneapolis, Zachary Aaberg (Callie Schiele) of Golden, CO, Sarah Aaberg (Travis Rinkenberger) of Fargo, ND, Paige Meier (Caleb) of Alexandria, Whitney Hunter (Josh Temple) of Blooming Prairie, Nick Lommen of Atlanta, GA and Anders Lommen of Bozeman, MT; her great grandchildren, Tayte, Daxton Wasiloski, Mia, Eleigh, Eve Meier, Hannah, Gauge, Cree Hunter and Truly Temple; her sister Ann Barsness (Erling) of Billings, MT; and her sister-in-law Elaine Raine of Alexandria. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. The family will be making donations in Joy's name.
