It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice I. Mithun of Starbuck, Minnesota, who passed away on February 14, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Benson and Olga Benson (Moseng); her son Roger Mithun; and her brother Burdell Benson. She is survived by: her husband Sidney Mithun of Cyrus; her children, Randy Mithun (Denise) of Glenwood, Susan Fitzpatrick of Niceville, FL, Robert Mithun (Amy Rose) of Clara City, Ronald Mithun (Angie Fedler) of Cyrus, Richard Mithun of Alexandria and Rodney Mithun of Sauk Rapids; her grandchildren, Brandi Braun (Allen) of Bismarck, ND, Robyn Snider (Dan) of Glenwood, Camryn Mithun (Andrew Middendorf) of Fargo, ND, Ryan Fitzpatrick (Haylee Marx) of Niceville, FL, Brendan Fitzpatrick of Niceville, FL, Shealee Mithun (Ethan Kruger) of Bunde, Alexa Mithun of Clara City, Travis Mithun (Sam Anderson) of Cyrus and Trent Smith (Travis) of Alexandria; her great grandchildren, Adam, Noah, Ezra, Adeline, Asher Braun, Alivia, Calum Snider and Gauge Kruger; and her sister-in-law Virginia Benson of Alexandria. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
