Barbara H. Olson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara H. Olson of Starbuck, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 4, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Hackert and Genevieve Hackert (Kampa); her daughter Amy Hartfiel (Alden Olson); and her siblings, Carol Sheythe, Donald, Edwin and John Hackert.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Hartfiel of Starbuck, Chris Hartfiel (Phil Hoch) of Apple Valley, Jenelu Decker (David) of Starbuck, John Hartfiel (Debbie) of Anoka and Andrew Hartfiel (Adriana) of Waseca; her sister Marie Hackert; and her sister-in-law Billie Hackert. She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home - Glenwood Chapel (122 1st Ave NE, Glenwood, MN 56334). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
