It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth DeWald of Staples, Minnesota, who passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton "Howard" DeWald and Erma DeWald (Gould); and her brothers-in-law, Larry Heikkinen and Russell Birch. She is survived by: her siblings, Larry DeWald (Renee) of Wadena, Jean Birch of Staples, Linda Heikkinen of Menahga and Sheila Finck (Steve Savaloja) of Verndale; and her nieces and nephews, Shane Birch (Paula), Dylan, Nathan, Carlee, Debbie Anderson, Stacy, Tommy Harthan, Trista, Mitch Johnson, Dakota Finck and Nicole Conn.
