He was predeceased by: his parents, Harding Blake and Gladys Blake (Marvin). He is survived by: his wife Junette Hagenson; his sons, Bruce, Gary (Kelly) and Kent (Mary); his grandchildren, Anthony (Holly), Andrea, Aslyn (Nick), Amara, Tina (Aaron) and Ashley (Matt); and his brother Charles. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
