She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; her son Galen Nagle; her sister Nina Johnson; her siblings-in-law, Cliff Johnson, Art Redling and Carol McFarlane; and her son-in-law Donald Voeltz.
She is survived by: her children, Patty Ward (Jerry) of Ottertail, MN and Arly Nagle (Cheri) of Tempe, AZ; her grandchildren, Matthew Voeltz (Lauren) of Lancaster, MN, Michael Voeltz of Breezy Point, MN and Rachel Peterson (Matthew) of Owatonna, MN; her great grandchildren, Melody, Peter, Georgia Voeltz, Harper Voeftz, Connor Peterson and Bryce Peterson; and her siblings, Don McFarlane of Baudette, MN and Audrey Redling of New Brighton, MN. She is also survived by her step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
With the onset of Alzheimer's, Marlys moved to Staples to be closer to family.
