He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rengel and Rose Rengel (Heier); his wife Rosemary Madsen; his brothers, Rick and Bob; and his niece Alicia.
He is survived by: his sons, Brian Kissam (Joy) and Todd Kissam (Jane); and his brothers, Phil Rengel (Gail), Roger Rengel (Mary), David Rengel (Dinah), Jerry Rengel and Joel Rengel (Pam). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Vietnam Veterans of America.
