He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Vagle and Elda Vagle (Keeler); his wife Marie Johnson; his children, Deane Michelle, Stephen (Beth) and Karen Fitzlaff (Doug); his grandchildren, Michael Fitzlaff (Becca), Amy Clark (Josh), Cierra Vagle and Sgt Alex Vagle; his great grandchildren, Jase, Jett Fitzlaff, Sara and Jake Clark; his stepgrandchildren, Rachael Lindgren (Jon), Abigail, Rebecca Brunstad, Nick and Phil Brunstad; and his siblings, Wesley Vagle (Nancy), Ivy Abersol (Russ), Arlys Kavlie (Jerry) and Una Bessler (Dave).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Gideons International or the Salvation Army.
