Barbara Jean (Vernarsky) Siegel was born November 18, 1955.
Barb was born in Elyria, Ohio, to Michael and Elizabeth Vernarsky.
Barb moved with her family to Leader, MN in the summer of 1972. Barb graduated Motley Highschool year of 1975. Barb also attended a few years at the votech. Barb worked at the forestry , and thats where she met her husband Lee Siegel.
Barb and Lee married June 9, 1979, and then in 1987 they had a daughter.
Barb worked at RDO with husband until she couldn't anymore. Then Barb worked at a fiberglasses place in Menagha, mn, also at a senior center, until she was unable to work anymore due to her epilepsy.
Barb loved to garden, spend time with family, listens to oldies around the campfire, collecting christmas village (that her husband got her started), loved lighthouses, and just being around the ones she loved dearly.
Barb will be remembered by her daughter Anna (Ron) Lawlor, her 3 grandchildren (Brianna Lee, Riley, Gavin), her 2 brothers: Joseph (Darla) Mrazek, Michael (Brenda) Vernarsky, her 3 sisters: Cathy Boyer, Joanne (Ken) Stottlemire, Ruth Wilkins. Many nephews, nieces, cousins, great nephews, and great nieces, and also many friends.
Barb preceded in death by her husband Lee Siegel, a grandchild, her sister Rose Barns, both her parents Mike & Marie Vernarsky, 2 brothers: John David, Edward.
Barbs'. Memorial Service will be Wednesday February 9th, 2022 @ 10-12 at the Assembly God Church in Staples, MN.
