He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Weinbender; his son Phil; his son-in-law Dale; his grandsons, Tim and Keith; his parents, Joseph and Clara; and his siblings, Bernadene, Loraine, Dolores, Kate, Jerry and Claude.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Ron Steffens (Becky), Dan Steffens, Cindy Raum and Patricia Zagaros (Patrick); and his stepdaughters, Kay Fitzgerald (Jim), Trish Votel (Henry) and Susan Henslin (Gary Rankel). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
Memorials preferred to St. Stephen's Shelter in Minneapolis.
