He was predeceased by: his father Gordon Sampson; and his grandchild August. He is survived by: his mother Yvonne Sampson (Scheid); his wife Gina Freese; his children, Cameron Sampson (Mirella) and Sydnie Sampson; his close friend Jimmy Atkinson; his siblings, Debbie Haataja (Brian), Gary Sampson (Nancy) and Robert Sampson (Lorri); his siblings-in-law, Jerry Freese and Gloria Freese; and his pet Sweetpea. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family.
