She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Steer and Bessie Steer Thompson; her son Richard Arthur Rood; her grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Sundvor and Barrett Parker Larson; and her siblings, Jack, Henry, Charles Steer, Bessie, Mary Wavra, Nola Schiele (McMahan) and Amy Hoeper.
She is survived by: her spouse Omar E. Rood Sr.; her children, Omar Rood Jr., Judith Ann Sundvor (John), Joel David Rood (Leslye), Cynthia Rae Rood and Lori Lee Larson (David); her grandchildren, John Hans Sundvor (Sandhya), Erika Rood Regier (Paul), Charles Chevalier Rood (Sarah), Lauren Leigh Rood, Timothy Hale Rood, Elliot David Larson and Anneke Elizabeth Rood; her great grandchildren, William Thilford Sundvor and Ritu Narma Sundvor; and her sister-in-law Sue Steer.
