He is survived by: his siblings, Cindy Engebretson (John), Mari Thomas (Steve), Katie Geske (Jeff) and Tony Michels (Kathee); his sister-in-law Linda Michels; his godchildren, Heidi Hackbarth, Jeff Thomas, Cory Michels and Evan Michels; and his close friend Liz Gammell. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
