Charles R. Gjovig Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles R. Gjovig (Stacy, Minnesota), who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Gjovig (Larson) and Reuben Gjovig; his stepfather Victor Blaisdell; his sisters, Helen Cockerham and Betty Johnson; his daughter Teresa Meyer (Teri); and his grandson Mitchell Gjovig.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Freiberg; his son Mark (Maria); his son-in-law Tim Meyer (Vicki); his grandchildren, Chandra Prososki (Blake), Chelsea, Chance Meyer, Matthew (Matti) and Morgan Gjovig; and his great grandchildren, Aspen, Remi, Sawyer Prososki and Mari Gjovig.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Acres for Life (acresforlife.org) the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice is preferred.
