It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Altermatt (Springfield, Minnesota), who passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Isadore Altermatt and Bertha Altermatt (Jenniges); and also, Grover and Marjorie Lyle. He is survived by: his wife Debra Lyle; his children, Alicia Gulbranson (Patrick), Michael Altermatt (Jennifer), Sarah Pack (Colby), Isadore Altermatt (Kimberly) and Shannon Furth (Timothy); his grandchildren, Luke, Katelyn, Jacob Gulbranson, Andrew, Merik Altermatt, Braiden, Dylan Pack, Devynn, Gunnar, Kooper Altermatt, Eleanor and Emerson Furth; and his siblings, Cathy Riegel (Chuck), John Altermatt (Char), Paul Altermatt, Margaret "Midge" Marcum (Sam), Mary Rocheleau (Ken), Peter Altermatt (Melody), Anne Schwartz and Susan Bierl. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
