He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Richert and Rose Richert (Riebel); his brothers, Robert Richert (Irene), Donald Richert (Joan) and Kenneth Richert (Ellen); and his brothers-in-law, Ralph Bielen and Virgil Kettner.
He is survived by: his wife Lenore; his sons, Gary Richert (Colleen) and David Richert (Joan); his grandchildren, Raquel Kieper (Korey), Travis Richert (Laura), Tonia Richert (Joe), Anna Halvorson (Ted), Treff Richert (Megan) and Zachary Richert (Samantha); and his sister Avona Bielen. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter.
