He is survived by: his wife Ramona; his daughters, Melanie Simpkins (Tom) of Ripon, WI and Melissa Berthelsen (Mike) of Northfield, MN; his grandsons, Jonathan Simpkins (Seana), Peter Simpkins (Kristen Larson), Erik Berthelsen (Joy), Nathan Berthelsen and Jonah Berthelsen (Emily Geiger); his great grandchildren, Martha, Francis and Gertrude Simpkins; and his sister Joyce Revne Stofft.
Memorials preferred to Green Lake Bible Camp in Spicer, MN or to First Lutheran Church in St. James.
