He was predeceased by: his wife Darlene Utz; his brothers, Carl, Linus, Dennis, Ronald, Donald and Richard Utz; and his parents, Philip Utz and Clara Utz (Kraus).
He is survived by: his daughter DeAnn; his stepchildren, Jennifer Hornick (Richard) of Rapid City and Steve Hornick (Mykhaila) of Springfield; and his sisters, Mary Ann Ochs of Springfield and Shirley Hacker (Dale) of Springfield. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
