He was predeceased by: his parents, Florian Helget and Leona Helget (Rothmeier); his daughter Julie Hayden; his granddaughter Abby Windschitl; and his sister Joanne Groebner.
He is survived by: his former wife Rosella Mathiowetz; his wife Sally; his children, Deb Windschitl (Mike), Diane Kretsch (Jeff), Tammy Schewe (Corey), Scott Helget and Paula Sturm (Randy); his son-in-law Mike Hayden; his grandchildren, Katie Lax (Mark), Sarah Ulrich (Mike), Amber Vogel (Luke), Christopher Kretsch (Joeli), Megan Jensen, Jocy Hayden, Heather Haala (Brent), Casie Braulick (Tom), Colton Schewe (Chelsey), Brody, Brooklyn and Brayden Sturm; and his siblings, Lois Schley, Betty Kieper, Margie Martinson (Randi) and Kevin Helget (Sue). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
COVID-19 restrictions will be implemented and masks are required.
