He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Bishir and Helen Bishir (DeLong); his mother-in-law Hilda Anderson; and his brothers, Dale Bishir (Donna) and Dean Bishir.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel of Springfield; his children, John Bishir, Mike Fier, Kim Fier and Jon Fier; his grandchildren, Anna Fier and Nicholas Fier; and his sisters, Kay Moe (Roger), Mona Moreau (Clem) and Karen Olson (Clinton). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
