She was predeceased by: her parents, Harris Blackstad and Evelyn Blackstad (Luckow); her former husband Richard Kolstad; her husband Richard Scheibe; her son Kevin Kolstad; and her brothers, David Blackstad and Vance Blackstad.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Kafka (Dan) of Ortonville, MN and Blaine Kolstad (Teresa) of Mankato, MN; her daughter-in-law Patricia Kolstad of Kasota, MN; and her sister Shirley Ferris (Denny) of Mankato, MN. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and five nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sturm Funeral Home, St. James Chapel (906 10th Ave S, St James, MN 56081).
