He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Bellig and Sylvia Bellig (Eyrich); his parents-in-law, Henry and Frances Mumm (Nieland); his stepfather-in-law Paul Wendland; his siblings-in-law, Diane Mumm, Harold Wolf, Miles Grotjohn and Willard Lemke; and his nephew Philip Mumm.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Susan Bellig (Mumm); his son Sam Bellig (Andrea) of Battle Lake; his grandchildren, Sara, Caleb, Abigail and Anna; his son Paul Bellig (Leslie) of Lamberton; his grandchildren, Tanner Niskanen (Valerie), Paige Wilhelmy (Nick) and Sophia; his son Dan Bellig (Laurie) of San Diego, CA; his grandchildren, Wyatt and Parker; his daughter Jenny Stavnes (Chad) of Lamberton; his grandchildren, Emma Anderson (Cole), Noah, Lillian, Abraham, Henry and Hazel; his son David Bellig (Dulcey) of New Ulm; his grandchildren, Eva and Elin; his sister Beverly Ryan of La Crosse, WI; and his siblings-in-law, James Mumm (Gail), Mark Mumm (Sandra), Betty Wolf, Mary Grotjohn, Marjorie Lemke and Beverly Gulseth (Grant). He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
