With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geneva Turbes of Springfield, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 19, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Geneva leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Geneva may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence J. Hartsell and Alice J. Hartsell (Hunt); her husband Don J. Turbes; her sister Janet; her brother-in-law Edgar; and her niece Cindy.
She is survived by: her children, Mark (Dawn), Daniel (Debra), Jody and Lisa. She is also survived by grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (4 2nd Ave SE, Watertown, SD 57201). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
