With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fern F. Meine of Springfield, Minnesota, who passed away on January 28, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Kirschstein and Gertrude Kirschstein (Sorenson); her husband Walter Meine; her sister Rose Lee (Ken); and her granddaughters, Courtney Meine, Fern F. Meine and Springfield.
She is survived by: her family Springfield; her sons, Douglas Meine (Mary) of Rochester, Tony Meine (Lynn) of Rochester, Ronald Meine (Kayla) of Clements and John Meine (Marsha) of Rogers; her grandchildren, Laura Meine (John Wiedenhoeft), Joe Meine (Candace Phalen), Lisa Meine, Roxy Korkemeier (Joe), Renee Meine (Kris Morgan), Kyle Meine and Jennifer Steffen (Nick); her great grandchildren, Grady, Harper, Reed Korkemeier, Hadley Meine, Charlotte and Leon Phalen-Meine; and her niece Barb Tomschin (Duane). She is also survived by her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Public visitation will be on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield Chapel those attending are asked to wear a mask.
