She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Krueger and Martha Krueger (Sandmann); her husband Peter Vanderwerf; her siblings, Erma Hoecherl (Jerome), Elsie Roiger (Henry), Erv Krueger (Lois) and Evelyn Wersal (Florian); her in-laws, Melvin Schwartz and Roger Vanderwerf; her nephew Gary Schwartz; and her niece JoAnn Wintheiser.
She is survived by: her sons, Dave (Lynn) of Dawson, Doug (Jean) of Hutchinson and Curt (LuAnn) of New Ulm; and her grandchildren, Becky Myers (Kevin), Mark Vanderwerf (Michelle), Laura Espeseth (Eric), Peter Vanderwerf, Kathryn Smith (Vern), Amanda Pearson (Andy), Erin Kissner (Jeff) and Andrea Krenz (Kyle). She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
