He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Rosenstengel of Leavenworth; his children, Jeff Rosenstengel (Sue) of Springfield, Julie Johns (Eric) of Belview, Joleen Seidl (Jason) of New Ulm and Jill Misgen (Marvin) of Rochester; his grandchildren, Justin Rosenstengel, Katie Helget, Jake Rosenstengel, Kaden Rosenstengel, Kenzie Rosenstengel, Alex Johns, Isaac Johns, Heidi Semanko, Josh Seidl, Megan Seidl, Kyle Seidl and Matthew Seidl; his great grandchild Theodore Helget; and his sisters, Rosemary Pankratz, Bernetta Hesse and Doris Moe. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

A prayer was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye Chapel (301 3rd Ave SW, Sleepy Eye, MN 56085). Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Church of the Japanese Martyrs (30868 Co Rd 24, Sleepy Eye, MN 56085). A Mass was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
