With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Schmidt (Springfield, Minnesota), who passed away on April 6, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Carol Agre, David and Clyde Schmidt; and his parents, Donald Schmidt and Evelyn Schmidt (Schultz).
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Schmidt of Springfield; his children, Tammy Hatlestad (Eric Stockland) of Spicer and Matthew Schmidt (Kari) of Sleepy Eye; his granddaughter Sadie Hatlestad of Spicer; his siblings, Barbara Ottaway of California, Diane VanHee (Steve) of South Dakota and Donald Schmidt Jr. of Springfield; and his siblings-in-law, Louie Agre of Texas, Donna Schmidt of Springfield, Mary Paur of Springfield and John Kaseforth (Roseanne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
