She was predeceased by: her parents, Erna Wendt (Haseleu) and Albert G. Wendt; her brother David; her great grandchild Matthew Leonardy; and her siblings-in-law, Lydia Hofmeister, Crescentia Meidl and Louis Lehnertz.
She is survived by: her husband Edward of Springfield; her children, David (Nora) of Kimball, Charles (Jeanne) of Barrett, Paul (Colleen) of Springfield and Karen Dougherty (Jim) of Bemidji; her grandchildren, Justin Meidl (Sarah), Stephanie Leonardy (Jason), Ashley Behnke (Elijah), Kayla Rinenberger (Joey), Mallory Meidl, Lisa Lacey (Donald), Brittany Cook (Ryan), Tiffani Meidl, Gerritt Meidl, Tyson Meidl, Jennifer Losey (Jarick), Melissa Doughtery, Bryan Doughtery and Meghan Doughtery; her siblings, Albert Wendt Jr. (Joann), Alan Wendt, Elaine Hendrickson (Jay) and Myrt Lehnertz; and her siblings-in-law, Norman Hofmeister and Angie Portner (George). She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
