He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Sr. Kettner and Minnie Kettner (Colburn); his wife Arlis Walton; and his siblings, Lloyd and Virgina.

He is survived by: his son Kevin Kettner; his granddaughters, Kalie, Brooke and Tiffini Kettner; and his stepchildren, Vikkie Morford (Glen), Rhonda Ludewig (Kevin), Scott Walton (Lisa) and Doug Walton (Stacy). He is also survived by 12 step grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
