She was predeceased by: her parents, Selmar B. Larson and Alma Larson (Knudtson); her granddaughter Catherine Bjortomt; and her siblings, Ralph Larson and Alice Soffa.
She is survived by: her former spouse T. Perlam Jertson; her children, David Jertson of Arizona, Paul (Terri) of Medford, OR, Wayne (Sally Keller) of Omaha, NE, Peggy Bjortomt of Preston, MN and Michele Schwalbe of Harmony, MN; her grandson Brian Bjortomt of Missoula, MT; her great grandchild Raynee; her grandchildren, Jamie Bjortomt and Heather Steiner (David); her great grandchildren, Cordell, Evelyn, Arthur, Lyndon, David Jertson and Timothy Schwalbe (Lora) of Savage, MN; and also, Addison, Carter, Ethan and Maddie.
Memorials may be given in Shirley's memory to Preston Public Library or American Cancer Society.
