He is survived by: his stepson Andrew; his daughter Sherilynn Merkel (Jason) of Wykoff, MN; and his siblings, Ernest Jauert of Horicon, WI, Doris Stade of Chicago, IL, Inez Willingham of Decorah, IA, Kenny Jauert (Ruth) of Decorah, IA, Carol Boe of Decorah, IA, Bonnie, Marilyn Gibner and Joe Jauert of Clear Lake, IA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
