He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Plaehn and Henry Plaehn; his siblings, Harold, Earl, Charles, Paul Kenneth, Beulah, Lois, Alta and Bernice; and his brothers-in-law, John M. Kain and Thomas H. Kain.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Jean Kain; his children, Timothy, Terry Paul (Dawn), Douglas (Michelle) and Kristy Raihn (Kurt); his grandchildren, Mitchell Plaehn (Sami), Marcus Plaehn (Maddie), Jennaka Raihn and Tiana Raihn; his great grandchild Wyatt Plaehn; and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Bierle, Darlene Plaehn, Charlene Kain and James Kain (Irene).
