It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Rathbun of Spring Valley, Minnesota, who passed away on April 13, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Rathbun and Alvina Rathbun (Melchert); his wife Irma Buss; and his brothers, Rollin, Ross, Darrel, Ralph and Loren.
He is survived by: his sons, Greg Rathbun (Kathy) of Byron, MN and Rick Rathbun (Sue) of Rochester, MN; his grandchildren, Jon Rathbun (Jenny) of Chanhassen, MN, Jeff Rathbun (Molly) of Woodbury, MN, Brittany Ellerbusch (Jay) of Northfield, MN, Jason Rathbun (Heather) of Kasson, MN and Marissa Pietsch (Ryan) of Farmington, MN; his great grandchildren, Ellyce, Jon Thomas, Joey, Lucy, Jackson, Kinsley, Aubrey, Cecilia and R. J.; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Lou Rathbun of Rochester, MN and Aaron Klompenhower of Preston, MN..
