He was predeceased by: his mother Karen Roeder (Briggs); and his grandfather Bernard Briggs. He is survived by: his children, Amanda House of Wabasha and Zack Koch of Spring Valley; his brothers, Rick Koch of Preston and Bob Roeder (Renee) of Rochester; his grandchildren, Grahmm, Aerabell, Rainer, Brynn and Hailey; his grandmother Clara Briggs of Spring Valley; and his nieces and nephews, Ava, Josie, Luke and Brady.
